NSW asks Central Coast Council for 9,400 homes by June 2029.

That target counts homes finished; the homes determined here are counted from applications. A home can be approved and never built, and NSW measures the target against ABS completions data that Lodgd does not hold. The two are not a percentage of one another.

Across NSW, only 57% of homes determined reach construction within two years.

Lodgd matches every application to the construction certificates that follow it, site by site, across all 128 councils — so the pipeline can be read as what is likely to exist rather than what was lodged.
