How we count. These figures count homes written on development applications and complying development certificates lodged with Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council and published on the NSW Planning Portal. NSW’s Housing Supply Dashboard counts something different. Across NSW the two land within 6% of each other; council by council they differ by more than 20% about half the time, and in both directions — for some councils NSW’s figure is far higher, for others far lower.
